Linton Davies is an award-winning film and tv editor based in London. 

He graduated top of year from Westminster Film School in 2011 with a degree in Film and TV Editing. 

He wrote the book: The Editing of Star Wars: How Cutting Created a Classic, which is now taught in several film school around the world. He also regularly contributes articles to the British Editors Guild magazine.

In 2013 he edited his first feature, The Quest for the GameChild, a Google-funded comedy which has to date been viewed over 2 million times. He went on to edit the coming-of-age movie Making It, followed by the sports documentary Ten Count, starring Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson.

In 2020 he edited and produced The Polybius Heist. Premiering at Screen 1 Odeon Leicester Square, the film went to number 1 at the UK Box Office as well as on the Google Play and YouTube Movies charts. It holds a 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes and garnered a slew of awards, including for Best Editing.

In TV he has cut programmes for the BBC, Channel 4, NBC, The Box Plus Network and Dave, as well as holding the role of Senior Digital Editor for Love Productions (The Great British Bake Off) and the UNHCR. He recently edited The Assembly for BBC One to rave reviews.

He is trying to teach his daughter how to edit, but progress is slow.
